Some of us might have print screen on our PC to take a screenshot of a specific online or offline page for sharing or for future reference. Though most of us underrate this function but its very useful when you are trying to show your friends your latest achievement on your blog or game.
You can take screenshot on all type of Android smartphone. In some cases you might need to root your android device before you can be able to take screenshot on your phone, But with Samsung it's quite easy. Here is the steps on how you can take screenshot on your Samsung galaxy S3.
Also this steps may work on Galaxy s4 & s5, Galaxy note 2 & 3, Galaxy s4 zoom, Galaxy s4 mini and other handset made by Samsung.
Step1. Pick up your Samsung s3 handset.
Step2. Navigate to the content you wish to capture.
Step3. Then press and hold the power and Home button at a time.
Step4. The screenshot will be captured and save to photos
You can also take screenshot by swiping your palm across your galaxy s3 screen

One of the good features of this smartphone is the ability to use your palm to swipe over the screen to capture a screen shot. All you need is to enable it in your settings app.
Have this in mind that this feature might already be enabled on your galaxy s3, if not, follow the below steps to enable it
Step1. Goto the Settings app on the Home screen
Step2. Scroll down and tap Motion option.
Step3. Make sure the Motion activation box is Checked
Step4. Now check the Palm swipe to capture box if it's not checked
Step5. Save the settings
You can now snapshot any screen on your galaxy s3 by swiping the side of your palm across the screen.
Goto your gallery, navigate your screenshot album and you will find the screenshots you have captured.

Taking screenshots on galaxy devices is one of the easiest things to do thanks to the palm swipe feature , although I never knew the palm swipe feature could work on samsung galaxy s3.. I tried it out on galaxy s4 and s5 and it worked perfectly..Thanks for sharing
