Nowadays, You don't need to purchase internet modem in order to browse on your computer. With your Android smartphone you can easily connect your laptop/desktop computer to the internet in three ways, which am going to explain in this article.
The three ways to connect your Pc to internet via your android smartphone includes; using hotspot, USB cable and via bluetooth. You can utilize any of the three ways mentioned above.

Method1: Connect your computer to internet via Hotspot
Step1. Goto your phone settings and tap on "Wireless & Network"
Step2. Scroll down to "Tathering & Portable Hotspot" and tap on it
Step3. Then tap on "Portable WLAN Settings" and check/tick the "Portable WLAN Hotspot" box.
Step4. Tap on "Configure WLAN Hotspot"
Step5. Enter your prefered SSID name, security mode and password,, Now save the settings
Step6. On your computer, click on the network icon in the window 7 notification bar,
Step7. Select the SSID name you choose earlier on your phone.
Step8. Click "Connect" and insert your Password to connect your Computer to your phone internet data
Method2: Connect your computer to internet via USB cable
Step1. Connect your phone to your desktop/laptop computer with USB cable.
Step2. Goto your phone "Settings" and tap on "Wireless and Network"
Step3. Tap on "Tathering & Portable Hotspot", then check/tick "USB Tathering" to establish USB data connection on your PC. Thats all, you are good to go.
Method3: Connect your phone to internet via bluetooth
Step1. Drag the notification tray down and switch on your phone bluetooth or goto "Settings", tap on "Wireless and Network" and turn ON the "Bluetooth"
Step2. Click on the "Start" tab on your computer screen
Step3. Navigate "Device and Printers" and click on "Add a device"
Step4. Choose your android device name and click on "Next" button to pair your phone with your computer
Step5. Now, goto your phone "Settings" and then "Wireless & Networks".
Step6. Tap "Tathering & Portable Hotspot", then check/tick "Bluetooh Tathering" to share your phone internet connection.
