The first flying bicycle in the world

Two British designers, Yannick Read and John Folden invented the first flying bicycle, The two enthusiastic cyclists and designer met while living on the same road in Kingston upon Thames, England.

They began to bring out ideas and concepts for what finally became the Paravelo, a combination of a para-wing and a conventional bike, which tows a trailer carrying a powerful fan.

Apart from that, there is also a powerful dual-stroke gasoline which will power the craft’s three-bladed carbon fiber propeller to deliver a maximum airspeed of 25mph and it's said to be sold at $45,000USD. The Flying Bicycle has been specially designed to sail at low altitudes (below 4,000′), having an approximate range of 75miles from a full tank, operating from any suitable area of open field.
